Abstract
Pleurotheciopsis tropicalis anam. sp. nov., found on decaying leaves of Cal ophyllum antillanum Britton in a tropical rainforest, is described and illu strated. This species is distinguished by cylindrical, pale brown, 3-septat e conidia produced in unbranched acropetal chains. Notes on previously desc ribed species of Pleurotheciopis are given.
