Abstract
The employment of the large detectors at the CERN electron-positron collide r, LEP, for cosmic ray muon studies is reviewed, and results from observati ons with the ALEPH detector are discussed. The muon multiplicity distributi ons do not agree with simulations for large multiplicities. Possible future extensions of this program are noted.
