Abstract
The finite-difference vector beam propagation method is used to simulate pr opagation of Gaussian light beam in a finite slab of photonic crystal. A po ssibility to control light flow by the change of symmetry and polarisation of the incident light beam is demonstrated. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
