Abstract
We deal with the question of the periodic modulation signal of the transien t transmission and of the photon echo signal in polar semiconductor quantum dots. The theoretical argumentation is based on the numerical calculation of the electronic spectral densities within the two-level model of quantum dot, with a single electron coupled to LO phonons, the coupling treated in the self-consistent Hartree-Fock approximation to the self-energy. The theo retical results are compared with experiments on CdSe and InAs nanocrystals .
