Photonuclear reactions of three-nucleon systems - art. no. 044006

We discuss the available data for the differential and the total cross sect ion for the photodisintegration of He-3 and H-3 and the corresponding inver se reactions below E-gamma = 100 MeV by comparing with our calculations usi ng realistic NN interactions. The theoretical results agree within the erro r bars with the data for the total cross sections. Excellent agreement is a chieved for the angular distribution in the case of He-3, whereas for H-3 a discrepancy between theory and experiment is found.
