Bv. Pritychenko et al., Shape coexistence on the boundary of the "island of inversion": Exotic beam spectroscopy of Al-34 - art. no. 047308, PHYS REV C, 6304(4), 2001, pp. 7308
The N=21 nucleus Al-34, located at the boundary of the island of inversion,
was studied via intermediate-energy Coulomb excitation. A gamma ray with a
n energy of 657+/-9 keV has been observed in Al-34 and its production cross
section has been measured. This gamma ray may connect states which are mem
bers of the low-lying neutron d(5/2)-f(7/2) multiplet.
