Abstract
Bronchogenic cysts are relatively rare congenital anomalies that repre sent malformations of the embryonic foregut and are morphologically ex pressed as maldevelopments of the respiratory system. Anatomically, th ey can be positioned at any location along the central axis of the res piratory system, but are more commonly discovered in the thorax. Infra diaphragmatic bronchogenic cysts are rare and retroperitoneal ones dis tinctly unusual. We report a retroperitoneal bronchogenic cyst clinica lly masquerading as a phaeochromocytoma.
