An ion track structure model proposed previously on the basis of classical
binary collision theory and experimental measurements of ionization distrib
ution around ion path using low-pressure gas has been applied to calculate
the radiolysis yields for heavy ion bombarded Fricke solution and solid ala
nine dosimeter. The calculation results are compared satisfactorily with re
