Abstract
Low-temperature P-31 and C-13 NMR study of the reaction of bromo(2,4,6-tri- tert-butylphenyl)phosphine with 1-dialkylaminoalkynes showed that the prima ry products are unstable 1-aza-2-phosphabutadienes which either undergo rea rrangement into 1,2-azaphosphetines or take up the second aminoalkyne molec ule to form 1-aza-2-phospha-2,4-cyclohexadiene derivatives.
