Abstract
alpha -Amino stannanes can be obtained readily from tertiary amines through BF3 promoted deprotonation; in situ CsF treatment of BF3 complexed stannan es followed by lithium-transmetalation can be used to procure those alpha - alkylation products which are not available directly.
