Abstract
The hydroboration of alkenes, followed by the coupling of the B-alkyl-9-bor abicyclo[3.3.1]nonane derivatives with bromopyridines constitutes an effici ent procedure for the attachment of functionalized alkyl chains to the pyri dine nucleus. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
