Abstract
A simple, mild and effective method for tetrahydropyranylation of a variety of alcohols and cleavage of their tetrahydropyranyl ethers at ambient temp erature in the presence of K5CoW12O40. 3H(2)O as the catalyst with high tur novers is described. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
