Abstract
The high resolution (0.002 cm(-1)) FTIR spectra of the A(2)-fundamental ban ds nu (8) and nu (9) of B-10(3) N-14(3) H-1(6) were investigated for the fi rst time. Both fundamental bands show a typical parallel band structure, th us confirming the D-3h symmetry of the molecule under consideration. Whilst nu (9) is unperturbed at the present level of precision, vs is heavily per turbed, probably by an alpha (BB)-resonance with the IR-forbidden combinati on tone nu (10) + nu (17) The molecular constants of the ground state and o f the states nu (8) = 1 and nu (9) = 1, respectively, are given.
