Abstract
New high spin excitations in several light f(7/2) nuclei have been studied by means of EUROBALL IV. The application of the Recoil Filter Detector has allowed for a significant reduction of the Doppler broadening of measured h igh energy gamma -lines. In the article, a band termination observed for th e intruder rotational bands in Sc-45 is discussed. Results are compared wit h shell model calculations.
