Abstract
A projectile fragmentation experiment has been performed to populate the ne utron-rich A similar to 190 mass region, approaching the Z = 82, N = 126 cl osed shell. A previously unreported isomer is found in Pt-200, being the fi rst new example, from fragmentation reactions, of a seniority 4 state estab lished from gamma-gamma coincidences.
