Jj. Wang et al., Enantioselective separation of epoxides by capillary electrophoresis employing sulfated beta-cyclodextrin as chiral selector, ANALYST, 126(4), 2001, pp. 438-440
A capillary electrophoresis method was developed for the enantioseparation
of epoxide compounds. Sulfated beta -cyclodextrin was employed as a chiral
selector. Phosphate-triethanalamine buffer showed a chiral separation effec
t when employing charged sulfated beta -cyclodextrin. The effect of pH, tri
ethanolamine concentration and sulfated beta -cyclodextrin concentration on
the resolution was studied. Methanol was tested as an organic modifier. Se
veral other epoxides were successfully separated by the proposed method.
