Abstract
Two new tetranortriterpenoids, severinolide and cycloseverinolide, tog ether with four known compounds, were isolated and characterized from the root bark of Severinia buxifolia. Severinolide, atalantin and cycl oepiatalantin showed significant antifeeding effects against Plutella xylostalla. (C) 1997 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
