Abstract
The leaves of Aloe vera afforded, together with 10-hydroxyaloins A and B, a new pair of diastereoisomeric C-glucosylanthrones whose structur es were established as 8-O-methyl-7-hydroxyaloin A and 8-O-methyl-7-hy droxyaloin B from spectroscopic studies.
