Abstract
A new mansonone, ro-3,6,9-trimethylnaphtho[1,8-b,c]pyran-4,8-dione, in addition to mansonones D, E and F were isolated from the heartwood of Thespesia populnea collected in Hawaii. The structure of the new comp ound was elucidated by means of spectroscopic methods including 2-D-CO LOC experiments. (C) 1997 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
