Abstract
Previous work has shown that BiCl3-intercalated graphite is relatively stab le with low chemical reactivity and good stability under harsh environmenta l conditions. The present work examines the thermal behaviour of the c axis electrical resistivity of intercalate-rich and poor compounds and the Rama n spectrum of an 'aged' sample which had been exposed to ambient conditions over a 15 month period.
