The colored noise in a single-mode laser with injected signal is investigat
ed by the method of two-dimensional unified colored noise approximation. Th
e normalized correlation function lambda (2)(0), the intensity correlation
time T, and effective eigenvalue lambda (eff) are calculated. The effects o
f the injected signal I-0, colored noise strength P ' and the noise correla
tion time tau On the dynamical properties of the single-mode laser are disc
ussed.
