Abstract
In an example where some bidders have superadditive values, we characterize the equilibria of a simultaneous ascending auction and compare the revenue and efficiency generated with ones generated by the sequential, the one-sh ot simultaneous, and the Vickrey-Clarke-Groves auctions.
