Abstract
We study the thermodynamics of the relativistic quantum field theory o f massive fermions in three space-time dimensions coupled to an Abelia n Maxwell-Chern-Simons gauge field. We evaluate the specific heat at f inite temperature and density and and that the variation with the stat istical angle is consistent with the nonrelativistic ideas on generali zed statistics.
