Abstract
Stationary observations proved that long-term measurements permit us to obt ain significantly more precise values of soil creep velocity. Depending on soil texture, the average creep velocity ranges from 0.4 to 1.25 mm/year. W e recommend that these values be used for further studies of creep phenomen a and soil cover formation, as well as for the calculation of slope denudat ion and transportation of substances to Lake Baikal.
