Abstract
This report assesses the impact of Animal-Assisted Therapy (AAT) as it applies to speech/language pathology. It is a case study of a 72-year -old female who had experienced multiple strokes and other related med ical complications. Treatment utilizing two canine therapists, Charlie and Josh, increased one-word answers and object identification tasks, as well as verbalization behaviors in the subject.
