Abstract
Vascular endothelial integrity, assessed by Evans blue dye extrusion and ra diolabeled monoclonal antibody leakage, was markedly compromised in the bra in, lung, kidney, and heart during Plasmodium berghei infection, a well-rec ognized model fur human cerebral malaria. The results for vascular permeabi lity from both methods were significantly (P < 0.001) related.
