Abstract
Four species of Hygrophoraceae are described from south-west Western A ustralia Hygrocybe conica (Schaeff.: Fr.) Kummer var. conica f. conica , and Hygrocybe miniata (Fr.: Fr.) Kummer var. miniata are widely dist ributed throughout the world, whereas Hygrocybe polychroma and Hygrocy be viscidibrunnea are previously undescribed and may be endemic to Aus tralia.
