Abstract
Three new species of sequestrate (truffle-like) Basidiomycetes are des cribed from southern high rainfall areas in south-west Western Austral ia: Macowanites luteiroseus (Russulales), Thaxterogaster basipurpureum (Cortinariales), and Thaxterogaster luteirufescens (cortinariales).
