ADDITIONS TO THE CHEMISTRY, ECOLOGY AND DISTRIBUTION OF PELTIGERA-MELANORRHIZA AND P-NEOPOLYDACTYLA

New data about the chemistry, ecology and distribution of two species belonging to the Peltigera hymenina group (Peltigera melanorrhiza and P. neapolydactyla) are given for Europe A new chemotype within P. mela norrhiza is described and this taxon Is recorded as new for continenta l Europe. A discussion about the P. neopolydactyla morphotypes and che motypes is given, its distribution area is shown to extend towards tem perate and oceanic areas in southwestern Europe.
