Abstract
Measurement data on the tangential and radial fluid velocity components are presented for a stirred tank with a full bladed turbine impeller or a Rush ton turbine impeller. The measurements were taken in the laminar flow regio n for a Newtonian fluid of high viscosity with the measurement points locat ed in the region swept by the impellers as well as just outside it.
