The precise magnetization measurement under ambient pressure has been made
for Co2TiGa using a SQUID magnetometer. The spontaneous magnetization sigma
(s)(T) at ambient pressure is expressed empirically as a function of tempe
rature as sigma (s)(T)(2)=sigma (s)(0)(2)(1-T-2/T-C(2)), where sigma (s)(0)
and T-c are 19.5 emu/g, 128 K, respectively. The pressure derivative of T-
c has been obtained from the results of temperature dependence of initial p
ermeability under pressure up to 11 kbar. The value of partial derivativeT(
c)/partial derivativeP is -1.27 K/kbar. The results are discussed on the ba
sis of the spin fluctuation theory for itinerant electron magnetism. (C) 20
