Abstract
A new homochiral tripodal ligand -(S)-(-)-(alpha)-methylbenzylcarbomoy lmethyl)amine (H(3)1(S-mbz)) is reported, along with the preparation a nd structural characterization of two metal complexes K[Zn1(S-mbz)] an d K[Fe1(S-mbz)(NO)]. Significant changes in cavity structure are obser ved upon binding external ligands.
