Radiative phi-meson decays and eta-eta ' mixing: a QCD sum rule analysis

Abstract
The radiative transitions phi --> eta gamma and phi --> eta'gamma are analy sed using QCD sum-rules. At leading order in perturbative QCD, we obtain th e results: B (phi --> eta gamma) = (1.15 +/- 0.2) 10(-2) and B (phi --> eta 'gamma) = (1.18 +/- 0.4) 10(-4), in very good agreement with existing exper imental data. The related issue of eta-eta' mixing is discussed and we give predictions for the eta and eta' decay constants in the framework of a mix ing scheme in the quark-flavour basis.
