Abstract
Planar dithiooxamide (RHCCSCSNHR R = H, alkyl) form planar complexes MLX2,
ML2X2 and MLX (M= Cu, L = ligand, X = halogen) with the ligands in the S-ci
s form.
In this article we present a structural and vibrational study of the unique
complex Cu4I4 (L = CH3HNCSCSNHCH3), where the ligand appears in the S-tran
s form and where the copper is not situated in the plane of the ligand. (C)
