Abstract
This paper reports the results of a study on the thermoluminescent (TL) kin etics parameters of the perovskite KMgF3 activated by Ce and Er impurities. The kinetic parameters, i.e. the activation energy E the frequency factor s and the kinetic order b have been determined using the initial-rise techn ique as well as some methods related to the geometrical properties of the s hape of a TL peak. The experimental E values given by the various peak shap e methods have been checked using a simple acceptance test here introduced.
