Abstract
Confirmatory factor analyses suggested that the Mathematics Anxiety Scale f or Children (Chiu & Henry, 1990) measures an internally consistent, unidime nsional construct. Construct validity (i.e., correlations with state anxiet y, trait anxiety, and quantitative ability) was demonstrated.
