Abstract
New efficient route for preparation of organosilicon linear and cyclic olig omers containing C=C bond and silicon-atom in the chain, based on the catal ytic polymerization of divinylsubstituted organosilicon compounds (i.e. div inyl-silanes, -siloxanes and -silazanes), is overviewed. The oligocondensat ion yields linear silylene (siloxylene, silazanylene)-vinylene oligomers or cyclic dimers (trimers) when using ruthenium and rhodium complexes. respec tively. In the presence of Ru and Rh complexes diallyldiorganosilane and al lylvinyldimethylsilane undergo prior isomerization followed by oligococonde nsation yielding respective silylene-propylene and silylene-propylene-vinyl ene oligomers.
