Abstract
A 49-year-old woman underwent a pneumonectomy because of a mass in the midd le lobe. Histological examination of the tumour showed a well-differentiate d fetal adenocarcinoma (WDFA). This rare tumour appears to be associated wi th an excellent prognosis in the absence of metastases following surgical r esection. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
