Abstract
New applications of Larmor precession in neutron diffraction will be discus sed. The methods are based on the entanglement of the precession angle with the energy of the neutron and with the transmission direction of the neutr ons through the: precession devices. Although some applications will be dis cussed, the emphasis in this paper will be concentrated on the application of high-resolution neutron diffraction. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science B.V.
