Abstract
The deposition, diffusion and aggregation (DDA) on surfaces with a power-la w adsorption has been studied by Monte Carlo simulations. The model incorpo rates four elementary processes including deposition, diffusion, adsorption , and aggregation. When the correlation parameter alpha increases from 1 to infinity, the patterns change from site percolations to DDA clusters. The fractal dimension increases too. It shows that there is a clustering transi tion from a weakly correlated distribution of particles to a strongly corre lated one. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
