Abstract
The Mossbauer spectroscopy was used to study the formation of Fe-Ni-C inter stitial solid solutions upon cold plastic deformation by shear under a high pressure applied to fee Fe-Ni alloy powders mixed with carbon-containing p articles (soot, cementite Fe3C, and VC carbides).
