Abstract
It is shown that the high strength (sigma (0.2) = 1272 MPa) of mechanically alloyed ODS steels annealed at 1100 degreesC with a structure of polygoniz ed ferrite is due to the high density of dislocations and dispersed Y2TiO5 oxide particles with an average size of about 2-3 nm. The ODS steels have a considerably higher creep resistance and rupture strength at increased str esses (150-450 MPa) and temperatures (600-700 degreesC) in comparison with the conventional Kh16N15M3TF and 12Kh13M2BRF radiation-resistant reactor st eels.
