Abstract
Tho stembark of Afzelia bella yielded and aceylated dihydroflavonol glycosi de identified as 2R,3R-trans-aromadendrin-7- O-beta -D-glucopyranoside-6 "- (4 "'-hydroxy-2 "'-methylene butanoate), along with five known flavonoids a nd the lignan glycoside (+)-isolariciresinol 9-O-xyloside.
