Existing multidimensional recurrent algorithms for the normalization o
f Hamiltonian systems are replaced by a one-dimensional algorithm, tha
t is, the whole procedure of computing the normal form is reduced to a
single recurrent formula. This simplification is achieved by using th
e ring of asymptotic approximations of fixed order rather than Taylor
