Abstract
The principles of the operational ICD-10 classification concern the descrip tive diagnostic approach, the model of comorbidty and multiaxial diagnostic approaches. Their development based on an improvement of reliability and o ther methodological issues. More comprehensive diagnostic approaches are ne cessary to cover the related variables. The introduction of Diagnosis Relat ed Groups and the discussion concerning the efficiacy of psychotherapeutic approaches leads necessarily to the development of additional approaches fo r multiaxial and other methods for therapeutic indications and therapy plan ning.
