Mechanized procedures for chemical analyses are susceptible to systematic e
rrors usually: difficult to trace. This holds also for flow analysis that a
lthough accepted worldwide map sometimes yield inaccurate results. The pres
ent work focused on the development of a simple system able to detect and c
ircumvent sources of inaccuracy. The versatility inherent in the multicommu
ted flow analyzers was exploited for real-time characterization of the sour
ce of inaccuracy and overcoming the problem for every assayed sample. Speci
fic situations where the analytical results are more susceptible to inaccur
acy are emphasized.
