The heat effects of crystalline dl-leucine solution in water and a solution
of sodium hydroxide were determined by direct calorimetric measurements at
298.15 K. The standard enthalpies of formation of dl-leucine, its dissocia
tion products, and leucine complexes with nickel ions in aqueous solution w
ere calculated.
