Abstract
The energy of combustion of glycyl-1-asparagine was measured in a bomb calo rimeter in oxygen. The standard enthalpies of combustion and formation of c rystalline glycyl-1-asparagine were calculated. The heats of solution of th e crystalline dipeptide in water and in a solution of potassium hydroxide w ere measured at 298. 15 R by a direct calorimetric method. The standard ent halpies of formation of glycyl-1-asparagine and the products of its dissoci ation in aqueous solutions were calculated.
