Abstract
The influence of copper ions on the catalytic decomposition of hydrogen per oxide by iron ions was studied. At elevated copper concentrations, the dete rmining role in the process is played by trivalent copper ions participatin g in both chain propagation and chain termination reactions. The ratios bet ween the rate constants For these processes were estimated.
