Abstract
Hemangiopericytoma is an uncommon mesenchymal tumor originating from pericy tes. We describe the clinical and morphologic features in a case of intrath oracic extrapulmonary giant hemangiopericytoma. The tumor was radically rem oved, and the microscopy report was benign hemangiopericytoma. Because of t he high risk of local recurrence, long-term follow-up is important in such patients.
